He took one look at Ziggy and said, \u201cThat\u2019s not an aggressive dog, that\u2019s a scared dog.\u201d Jaime\u2019s connection with, and understanding of Ziggy was immediately evident, and Ziggy was even eating treats out of his hand by the time we parted ways. He also generously spent over 30 minutes with us that day explaining Ziggy\u2019s behavior and offering us peace of mind that our dog simply needed to learn to feel safe and confident. We\u2019ve since sent Ziggy on several pack hikes with Jaime and can already see an improvement in his behavior. Jaime always makes time to talk to us about our training efforts, is quick to respond to texts or calls, and genuinely cares about our dog. My dog Tubs who is a 14 lb poodle\/ dachsund mix has been a skittish city dog since we adopted him at 8 months. After living in NYC for 4 years, we migrated out West and I hoped the calmer environment would make Tubs less anxious. This wasn\u2019t the case, and after 2 months in LA we were getting threatened with eviction if I couldn\u2019t get Tubs to calm down during the day when I wasn\u2019t home. Luckily, I found Jaime on Yelp when it was time for Tubs to get groomed. Jaime offered to throw in a hike for Tubs at a small fee with his haircut. I was very skeptical at first &#8211; I didn\u2019t think Tubs would be able to hang with the other dogs or that he would survive a hike. Not only did he survive it, but he was happy and calm when I came home. Tubs started going on hikes with Jaime twice a week from then on. At first he was a little stubborn and would come to a grinding halt half way through but Jaime was persistent and after 3 weeks, Tubs was leading the pack! Tubs has become noticeably more confident since working with Jaime. He used to cower away from other dogs and people, and now he excitedly greets them on our walks together. The day after his hikes, he is calm and sleepy which makes him much less anxious when I leave the house for work. I\u2019ve been able to schedule dog walks and feedings for my pups when I have to work late, and Jaime also takes my shepherd\/dane mix on hikes several times a week and she LOVES hiking and hanging out with Jaime and the pack. I feel confident that Jaime has the same level of care and concern for my dogs as I do, and they always return home happy and exhausted. And bonus, Jaime does grooming too! So if you know your fuzzy nugget is getting stinky, you can send her on a hike with Jaime and schedule a grooming and bath for afterwards. There\u2019s nothing better than a content sleeping pup who smells like coconut.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph {\"fontSize\":\"small\"} -->\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">I also love boarding my pups with Jaime because I know they won\u2019t be crated and will get plenty of love and exercise while I\u2019m away. He\u2019s a really great guy that really loves animals and has made it his life like nobody I\u2019ve ever met. He just came by and helped me install my invisible fence so if that doesn\u2019t say it all I don\u2019t know what will. He great, and my big dog is sooooo excited when he shows up.
